Before initiating a wire transfer, verify the information by calling the recipient using a phone number you already have on file, not the one you received in an email.

Adopt a proactive mindset to make your business safer. Stay connected with your tech partner, utilize trusted antivirus and anti-phishing softwares, and conduct backup/ recovery testing. Partner with an employee training provider, and track who may potentially pose as a threat.
